JUNIOR ACT’S

ST JUDE’S BIKE A THON

MAY 27, 2007  WHITMORE BALL FIELD

For the past 3 years the Mammoth Lakes Middle School Junior Act club has sponsored a Bike-A-Thon for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  St. Jude is the world’s largest pediatric cancer research center in terms of the number of patients enrolled and successfully treated.  St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatments that are not covered by insurance, and families without insurance are never asked to pay.  That is why these fund raisers are so important to support this great cause.

And the Results were:

The event raised over $1,100.  The Mammoth Lakes Rotary Noon and Sunrise Clubs assisted with a bar-b-que and many members raised money for this Bike a Thon. A special thanks to our local bike club, East Side Velo, for putting up safety signs along the route and their generous donation.
