Second Annual Texas Hold'em
Tournament

The Noon Rotary Club of Mammoth Lakes
is hosting a Second Annual "No Limit Texas Hold'em" Poker Tournament on
Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 12:00 noon under the big top at
The Village in Mammoth Lakes.
A $65.00 (Pre-registration) buy-in gets you $2,500 in chips.
Registration is $75.00 at the door. Great prizes for top
finishers! The Rotary Club will be barbecuing and beverages will
be available for purchase. If you don't play cards, just come,
have lunch, participate in the raffle and help the Rotary Club help
Mammoth Lakes. All proceeds will go to our academic scholarship
programs for Mammoth High School and other goood works that Rotary does.

The Noon Rotary Club of Mammoth Lakes would like
to thank the Mammoth Lakes Community for its support of our recently
held Second Annual Open Hold’em Tournament. It was a successful event.
The Rotary raised approximately $5,000 to supplement our community
giving.
Special thanks to the Village at Mammoth, who
donated the use of their big tent and staff for the event, Lakanuki for
generously donating the poker table tops, Mammoth Brewing Company for
their famous Beer truck, Mammoth Crossing Development for their
contribution towards advertising, the Mammoth Times, the Sheet, Channel
72, the Sierra Wave and Stu’s News for their Public Service
Announcements, Mammoth Media Group for flyer design and to the Lion’s
Club for chairs and tables.
Thank you to our local individuals and

Matt Vega, 6th, Jim, 7th, Shon Eastridge, 8th,
Debbie Christiana, 9th and Mike Bornfeld finished 10th.
A very big thank you to Tournament Director Bud
Duggan without who’s help we could not have run a successful tournament,
Teri Hoeschen, a real pro, and volunteer dealers Lane Duggan, Neil
Scott, Jason Fitz, and all the way from Bishop Robert Beach, David
French and David Bakhta, for their invaluable advice and participation.
It was great fun, you should have been there.
We’ll be back next year, Bigger and Better.
